Men's Ministry

-"Huddle"-

When people huddle together, it is for many reasons. In football, they huddle to regroup, learn the next play, and do a visual check to make sure everyone is still ok. When people huddle together in the winter, it is for warmth and survival. In the military, they huddle to see the plan of attack--or the plan for retreat. When a family huddles together, it may be to express love and care. Are you getting the mental picture? We need to "Huddle."

At "Huddle", we will begin doing life together. We will begin being in authentic community with one another. We will finally have a core group of men around us who we know are praying for us, laughing with us, crying with us, and learning with us. This will be an environment you can bring those who do not know Jesus to. It will be an environment to take off the facade of having it all together and be real with one another. This will be our time...to Huddle.

We meet every other Wednesday night at the church from 6:30-8:00pm. We share pizza together (bring and extra couple dollars to help offset costs!) for those men coming directly from work. Check the church calendar for a current schedule of meeting times. We look forward to seeing you there.

-"Men's Prayer Breakfast"-

Come join us for food and prayer! We meet at Frontier West, Monday mornings at 7am.

Women's Ministry

-"A Place 4 You"-

We realize that everyone needs a "place" to call home. We invite you to join our community of women and anticipate God's work in your life... individually and corporately.

No one person can fulfill all your needs. But the community can truly hold you. The community lets you experience the fact that, beyond your anguish, there are human hands that hold you and show you God's faithful love. Henri Nouwen

"Place 4 You" meets every other Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. This coincides with FFMC's AWANA program for kids, so if you have kids age 3 - 2nd grade, they can come with you and have their own time of fellowship and growth. If you have children younger than age 3, we currently do not offer childcare. If the need arises, we are more than willing to re-evaluate.

As women, we are currently studying The Patriarchs, Encountering the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, by Beth Moore. The Patriarchs is full of twists and turns, ruin and redemption, revelation and mystery. This study of Genesis 12-50 keeps participants captivated by the God who stars in it!

Throughout 10 weeks of exciting, engaging intrigue, participants will plunge into the heart of Genesis, to God's remarkable pursuit of relationship and to the unfolding of His earthly plan: that through one nation-and ultimately, one man-all people on earth will be blessed. Many of the most profound and enduring concepts in the whole counsel of God's Word are initiated in this marvelous book of beginnings.

If you've never participated in a Beth Moore study, we'll meet at 6:30 p.m. in small groups to go over the previous week's lesson, pray for one another and share as a community, then at 7:10 all groups will move to the sanctuary where we'll join together to watch the video of Beth Moore teaching.

Come and check us out. We hope you find this ministry to be a genuine "Place 4 You."
